The Guatemala Mission is fully supported by the CP Church. It is a Cumberland Presbyterian mission project that has the goal of establishing CP ministries in Guatemala. We are asking Cumberland Presbyterian Churches to support The Guatemala Mission by supporting our missionary Anay Ortega and projects related to Guatemala that the Missions Ministry Team promotes. The most reliable and powerful missionary support is from local churches providing missionary support from the church’s budget. The New Testament demonstrates how effective and appropriate it is for the faith community, as a body, to support its missionaries. We would like to encourage churches and church groups to prayerfully consider putting the Guatemala Mission into their budget. We encourage individuals to support this mission, but we especially want to appeal to local church sessions and church organizations to consider this project.
